Lonergan Workshop Is April 12-13

Rev. Francisco Quijano, OP, former assistant to the master of the Dominican order, will be among the speakers at the Spring Lonergan Workshop, "Aquinas Today: His Continuing Importance," to be hosted at Boston College April 12-13.

Fr. Quijano will present "The Emergence of Love [Processio Amoris]: Love and Will in Thomas Aquinas" on Friday, April 12, at 8 p.m. in McGuinn 121.

Preceding him at 6:30 p.m. will be Thomist scholar William E. Murnion, speaking on "The Mind of Aquinas Today."

On Saturday, April 13, Prof. Thomas Hibbs (Philosophy) speaks at 9:30 a.m. in Higgins 300 on "Contemporary Thomistic Political Theory: The Contribution of Alasdair MacIntyre," followed at 11 a.m. by Assoc. Prof. Louis Roy, OP (Theology), who will present "The Symbolic and the Rational in Thomas Aquinas' Commentary on John."
