New Employee Programs Offer Overview of University

The Employee Development Office will unveil two new workshop series this month aimed at broadening faculty and staff perspectives of the University and fostering dialogue among colleagues.

On March 26 at noon in the McElroy Conference Room, Vice President for Student Affairs Cheryl Presley kicks off the "Meet Your Colleagues" series with a discussion of issues facing students at Boston College, the rewards and challenges of her work and her insights and observations about BC.

The series will give faculty and staff the opportunity to meet high-level BC administrators and learn more about the University's operations. Other speakers in the series will be Athletic Director Gene DeFilippo on April 25 and Vice President for Facilities Management Thomas Devine on April 30.

On March 27, Employee Development will unveil the "Learning Across Departments" series, featuring a presentation by Boston College Police Lt. Margaret Connolly on her department's responsibilities, medical emergency response, investigations, crime prevention and educational programs.
