Retirement planning sessions available

Boston College employees with questions about retirement planning, asset allocation and other related areas can arrange for a one-on-one, 30-minute consultation with a representative from Fidelity Investments this semester in Roberts Lounge at More Hall.

The Fidelity representative will be available from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, Feb. 7 and 20, March 19 and 27, April 3 and 24, May 8 and 22, and June 4 and 19.

Employees should call 1-800-642-7131 to schedule an appointment. To make the consultation as beneficial as possible, employees are encouraged to prepare a list of questions or topics for discussion and to bring the most recent statement from their retirement plan.

MLK Day interfaith celebration

The University will hold an interfaith celebration on Monday in St. Joseph's Chapel to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The event , which begins at 7 p.m., will feature appearances by the Voices of Imani, the Liturgy Arts Group and other performers. For more information, call ext.2-3475.

Leadership nominees due Feb. 15

The Office of the Dean for Student Development invites members of the Boston College community to offer nominations for the annual Student Leadership Awards, which recognize those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the University through their leadership and creative involvement in student life. Nomination forms, which were mailed recently throughout campus, must be returned to McElroy 141 by Feb. 15. The awards will be presented at the ODSD Annual Student Leadership Awards Banquet on April 8. For more information, call ext.2-4957.

On-line policies manual updated

University Policies and Procedures Director Ivy Dodge recently announced that a new policy, "Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act," is now available on the on-line edition of the Boston College Policies and Procedures Manual at the following address: www.bc.edu/bc_org/evp/polpr/III/3-300-025.html.

Updated versions of the manual's table of contents [www.bc.edu/bc_org/evp/polpr/table.html] and index [www.bc.edu/bc_org/evp/polpr/index.html] also are available.

Chapel reservations available online

Members of the Boston College community wishing to reserve St. Joseph's Chapel on the Main Campus or Trinity Chapel on Newton Campus for an event can now register via the World Wide Web. Visit the Office of Campus Ministry Web site, www.bc.edu/bc_org/prs/campus-ministry/, and click the "Chapel Reservation Form" link on the left-hand side of the page. You must have Adobe Acrobat to view and fill out the form.
