Irish Musician at Connolly House

Dáithí Sproule, a talented guitarist and singer and a major figure in the revival of Irish traditional music, will present "Music: The True Living Spiritual Tradition of Ireland" on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 6 p.m. in Connolly House.

Sproule, who will be a guest at the BC Gaelic Roots Music, Song and Dance Summer School, has performed in recent years with the popular group Altan.

He also has had a distinguished academic career at the National University of Ireland, Dublin, the University of Minnesota, and the College of St. Thomas at Paul.

The event is sponsored by the Irish Studies Program.
