Chorale performs at NYC benefit

The Boston College Chorale raised more than $1,300 at a benefit concert held this past Saturday in New York City to assist families of victims in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center.

An audience of approximately 100 people turned out for the concert at St. Ignatius Church on Park Avenue, the site of a memorial Mass held by the University on Oct. 10 for Sept. 11 victims.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Twin Towers Orphan Fund, which seeks to provide for the educational or medical needs of children who lost one or both of their parents in the tragedy.
