A Catholic Mass in the Byzantine rite will be offered Saturday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Chapel, and be followed by a procession to Bapst Lawn for the crowning and salutation of Mary as Queen of Heaven.
The Andrei Rublev Choir of Boston College will perform liturgical chant at the Mass, and return to St. Mary's Chapel at 2:30 p.m. to present a Russian concert of Orthodox music with icons.
Rev. Michael Moisin, of the St. Joseph Byzantine Mission of the Apostolic Exarchate for Romanian Catholics, will sing the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom to mark the Saturday of Lazarus, the Orthodox Palm Saturday.
The University's annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, April 29, at 5:15 p.m. in Gasson 100, to honor the memory of family, friends and colleagues who have died the during 2001-02 academic year.
The names of those who have died will be inscribed in Boston College's Book of Remembrance.
The annual "Dancers at the Robsham" production will celebrate its 10th year with performances on May 3 and 4 in Robsham Theater. Both shows begin at 8 p.m.
Rev. Robert ver Eecke, SJ, pastor of St. Ignatius Church and director of the University's resident dance ensemble, will join with other local university dance coordinators and four independent choreographers for the performance, a yearly salute to the creative diversity of dance in Boston.
Tickets are $18, $12 for students and seniors, and can be purchased by calling the Robsham box office at ext.2-4002.
