BC Senior Wins National Directing Fellowship

(4-24-2006) — Anthony Nunziata '06 won a National Directing Kennedy Center Fellowship at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) held April 17-23.

Nunziata earned a place in the national competition after winning the KCACTF New England regional event earlier this year. He had been nominated for the regionals for his direction of Harold Pinter's "The Collection" last fall at Robsham Theater.

"I am extremely honored and thrilled, and very proud to represent Boston College every step of the way," said Nunziata, who as a result of winning the fellowhip will take part in a two-week intensive directing and design program this summer.

Nunziata is the second BC student in as many years to earn a KCACTF national fellowship: Megan Rulison '06 won the 2005 National Award in Dramaturgy.
