Enright appointed associate AD for media relations

(7-11-2000) Michael Enright, a member of the sports information staff at the University of Notre Dame for the past eight years, has been named associate athletic director for media relations at Boston College, according to an announcement made today by Athletic Director Gene DeFilippo.

Enright expects to assume the position later this month. He replaces Chris Cameron, who left Boston College this month to return to private business in Atlanta.

Enright spent seven years as assistant sports information director at Notre Dame, before being promoted to associate SID in 1999. He served as the media liaison with the UND football and men's basketball teams, and edited the teams' media guides and programs.

"We're very pleased that Mike Enright will be joining our staff," DeFilippo said. "He's very highly regarded in the sports information field, and he already has many contacts with the administrators and media representatives in and around the Big East Conference. Mike will be a fine addition to our team."
