(10-2-2000) At a recent reception for Congressman Richard Neal
(D-Springfield), President Clinton hinted that after he leaves office
in January one stop may include a local university where only Eagles dare.
In his remarks at the reception, Clinton said, "I'd like to thank Father
Leahy, the president of Boston College for being here. You know I'm going
to be unemployed after January, and I'm looking for somebody to ask me
to come give a talk every now and then.
"They say I'll get lost on the way for three or four months because nobody
will play a song when I walk in the room anymore. But I'm interested in
it."
