Please join us Tuesday, November fourteenth at Alumni House for a Reception and Lecture by James Keenan, SJ "Innovations in Christian Ethics: Contemporary Questions for Ordinary People"
Topics to be covered include:

  • Virtue Ethics, especially Mercy and Hospitality
  • Genetics
  • The Need for Ethics in Church Leadership
  • The Work of HIV Prevention

Fr. Keenan is a Jesuit priest and Professor of Moral Theology at Weston School of Theology. He has written or edited six books and over 150 essays on the history of Christian moral thought and virtue. Fr. Keenan has written widely on ethical issues in health care and is also editor of a series (Moral Traditions) with Georgetown Univeristy Press.
