Our Mission
We, the St. Ignatius Young Adult Group, are single and married men and women in our twenties and thirties who profess belief in the Roman Catholic faith. Called by God, we respond in trust by educating ourselves about our faith and by actively living out our faith in community.
As a reflection of Christ's body, our community recognizes that we depend upon and support one another and the parish in which we are rooted. In order to reflect more fully the Body of Christ, we welcome new members and encourage all to develop and contribute their unique gifts.
Our Goals
- To be a welcoming community for Young Adults.
- To be involved with the larger Catholic community within the St. Ignatius Parish, the Archdiocese of Boston, and the Jesuit Connection--the New England province of Jesuits' young adult group.
- To offer spiritual, service, social, and educational opportunities through which young adults can build a community of faith.
- To help members identify and develop their strengths.
- To nourish the growth of future young adult leaders.
