UPCOMING EVENTS:     

 
MAY 28TH: 
We'll be serving dinner at Shattuck Shelter on this fourth Tuesday of the month.  Desserts are always needed; please bring yours to the Parish Office by 4PM on the 28th.  Thank you.

JUNE 1ST/2ND: 
We'll be conducting an at-the-door collection to replenish our ARRUPE resources.  With those resources, we help stock the apartments of a newly-arriving refugee families being sponsored by Catholic Charities.  Look for the house-shaped box at any church exit.  Thank you for your continuing support of this vital outreach effort.

JUNE 15TH/16TH: 
Summer months result in empty shelves at our local food pantries and hunger does not take a vacation!  So, let's help ease that situation.  On the weekend of June 15th/16th, we'll conduct a not-expired, non-perishable foods drive to help re-stock the shelves at the Newton Food Pantry in Waban.  Please drop your bag(s) of donations in front of the Outreach table in the upper church Gathering Space.  The list of needed items will be posted at church entrances soon!  Or, see the flyer on the homepage of this website.

ON-GOING EFFORTS:

Pine Street Inn Shattuck Shelter Meals

The parish serves supper at Pine Street Inn Shattuck Shelter on the fourth Tuesday of each month. See the bulletin for more details.

Donations Drive

The Family Van needs donations of ready-made formula, larger size diapers, and baby cereal. Pine Street Inn Shattuck Shelter needs toiletries (full or travel size), new socks and underwear and cans of coffee/boxes of tea. The above donations may be left in the hamper in the upper church front entrance.

Grocery Cards

To assist individuals and families in need, please consider donating a $10 grocery gift-card from either Shaw's/Star Market or Stop and Shop. Donations can be dropped off at the Parish Office or put in the collection basket at Mass.
