June 7th and 8th:

We'll be conducting an at-the-door collection for funds that will assist parents of students at Mother Caroline Academy in purchasing school uniforms.  Please take a moment to take a look at the display on the table in the gathering space of the upper church.  It will include a listing of the cost of each piece of uniform attire.   To learn more about MCA, see the website:   www.mcaec.org.

June 21st and August 23rd:  COR UNUM MEAL CENTER, LAWRENCE

We've made plans to serve Saturday night dinner at Cor Unum on June 21st and August 23rd.  If you’d like to be a part of this outreach effort, give Sr. Diane a call to sign up – 617-552-6107.  Not quite sure what Cor Unum is all about?  Check out the website:  www.corunummealcenter.org.

Shattuck Shelter Meals

The parish serves meals at the Shattuck Shelter on the fourth Tuesday of each Month. See the bulletin for more details.

Donations Drive

The Family Van needs donations of ready-made formula, larger size diapers, and baby cereal. The Shattuck Shelter needs toiletries (full or travel size), new socks and underwear, cans of coffee / boxes of tea and new or used books. Mother Caroline Academy would appreciate donations of snack items for its students:  cereal bars, granola bars, peanut butter, jelly, packets of cheese and crackers, pretzels, juice boxes, small (snack-sized) boxes of cereal. All of the above donations may be left in the hampers at the upper church side front entrances.

 

Grocery Cards

To assist individuals and families in need, please consider donating a $10 grocery gift-card from either Shaws or Stop and Shop. Donations can be dropped off at the rectory.
