Christian Life Community is a lay organization
that shares the spirituality of the Jesuits. Members
form intentional communities where they can support one another in living
a Christian lifestyle. They reflect on their lives, pray together, socialize
and minister to one another using Ignation spirituality as a model. CLC
is a way of life that helps people consciously live their lives.

The spirituality of St. Ingatius of Loyola
is at the foundation of this University. CLC taps into the rich religious
tradition of the Jesuits. At Boston
College you will hear phrases such as 'Men and Women for Others', 'Finding
God in All Things', 'Ever to Excel', and 'For the Greater Glory of God'.
CLC explores what these really mean as we discuss how to appropriate them
into our lives. Mission

Mission is more than just works of service.
It is asking "Does God have a mission for me?" As we share our ministry
together, we come back as a community to ask, "Where did I find God?" and,
"How is God speaking through my experience?" As
CLC finds ways to minister to the BC community and the surrounding area,
we learn about ourselves and where God is calling each one of us individually.
CLC at BC has greatly enriched lives and
many lasting friendships have flourished. But most important, members have
come to know the Spirit and invited God into their lives because of this
communal experience of sharing faith, doubts, insights, sufferings, and
joys with one another. Many members
of CLC find it invaluable to have a community to talk with as they make
life decisions. They discuss what kind of person they want to be at Boston
College and after graduation. Members have supported and challenged one
another to take risks and choose the right path of greatest growth.
