• Description: This searchable database lists over 1,400 newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals pertaining to Ireland. The database gives complete holdings information for all Irish serials in the Boston College libraries. Coverage includes Irish history, literature, politics, art, archaeology, economics, genealogy, music, and law.

• Description: Atlantes is the largest Spanish-language database in the world containing bibliographic information on sport, physical activity, and leisure. Coverage includes books, magazine articles, theses, research works, conference proceedings and audiovisual products.

Catalogue du Musée Olympique

• Access: There are two ways of accessing the Catalogue du Musée Olympique:

• Description: - over 11,000 references to books, reports and other materials on sport and the Olympic Games held in the library collection of the Olympic Museum, a foundation set up by the International Olympic Committee.

Héraclès

• Description: - Héraclès is the largest French-language database in the world containing bibliographic information on sport, physical activity, and leisure. Héraclès contains over 50,000 citations and adds more than 4,000 each year. These cover periodicals, books, theses, conference proceedings, and audiovisual products.

Congressional Universe

• Instructions: Online help.
• Description: Provides access to hearing transcripts, congressional committee reports, bills, public laws, selected committee prints, congressional documents, the Congressional Record from the 99th Congress forward, Federal Register from 1980 forward, the current Code of Federal Regulations, and the current U.S. Code.

Statistical Universe

• Dates: (ASI: 1973-present; SRI: 1980-present)
• Access: Internet access. Statistical Universe. Remote access restricted to Boston College community. 
• Instructions: Online help.
• Description: ASI: an index of all statistics issued by the U.S. government back to 1973 through CIS' American Statistics Index. SRI: an index to some 1,000 statistical publications of private and state government sources from 1980 forward through CIS' Statistical Reference Index.

• Description: CollegeSource® Online features over 8,700 College Catalogs in complete cover-to-cover, original page format representing 2-year, 4-year, graduate and professional schools. Tables of contents and indexes are fully hyperlinked so one can quickly find such details as complete course descriptions, academic policies, faculty information, admission requirements, campus maps, etc.

Dictionary of Old English Corpus

• Dates: (600-1150 A.D.)
• Access: Internet access: The Dictionary of Old English Corpus. Restricted to Boston College community.
• Instructions: Online help.
• Description: Compiled as part of the Dictionary of Old English project at the University of Toronto, the Dictionary of Old English Corpus in Electronic Form is an online database consisting of at least one copy of every Old English text. In some cases, more than one copy is included, if it is significant because of dialect or date. As such, the DOEC represents about three million words of Old English and another two million words of Latin, or about six times the collected works of Shakespeare.

• Description: Over 100,000 Bibliographic citations including abstracts, subject headings, and classification codes. Includes a variety of Internet accessible resources including World Wide Web pages and Listservs. New resource types, including Usenet newsgroups, FTP sites, Gopher servers, and electronic publications in many formats will be coming soon.

Current Contents Connect

  Remote access is restricted to Boston College community.

• Description: A current awareness database that provides information in the fields of science, social science, technology, and arts and humanities. Updated weekly in seven editions, it displays the tables of contents from nearly 8,000 scholarly journals and provides complete bibliographic data for journal articles, reviews, editorials, corrections, and conference proceedings.

• Description: Provides access to Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, and Social Science Citation Index which collectively index more than 8,000 peer-reviewed journals and provide cited references. More information is available from ISI's product descriptions.
