Meeting Accommodations

90 Thomas More Residence Hall, Boston College  Boston Radisson Hotel Lobby  Holiday Inn Brookline, MA  Boston Radisson Hotel Room

On Campus Housing Check-In

The Summer Housing Welcome Center, located on the first floor of 90 Thomas More, will be open for check-in from 8:45 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. When you check-in the staff of the Welcome Center will give you all the information you need to make your stay in the dorms enjoyable.

Late Arrivals

If you are arriving on campus after 9 p.m. you must call the Center to have a staff person open the main door to 90 Thomas More for you. The telephone number for the Center is: 617-655-5555.

Parking

You cannot park by 90 More Hall except to unload luggage. Plan to park in the Commonwealth Avenue garage or consult the campus parking maps for other locations.


Hotels

There are many hotels in Boston, but none within a reasonable walking distance of the campus. Unless you choose on-campus housing, your trip to campus will include public transportation, a cab ride, or walks of up to a mile or more.

Rooms for NAAUG 2002 are reserved at the Holiday Inn closest to campus, the Radisson Hotel, which is in downtown Boston, and on campus.

Boston College has arranged special rates at two Boston area hotels for NAAUG 2002:

Radisson Boston
$149 per night, per room

The Radisson hotel is located in downtown Boston, approximately one hour by public transportation to the Boston College Campus.

Holiday Inn
$119 per night, per room

Mention NAAUG, North American Aleph Users Group/Boston College.

The Holiday Inn is located half-way between Downtown Boston and the Boston College Campus. Public transportation is available if you allow for a half hour of travel time, including a 6 block walk.


Campus Housing

90 St. Thomas More Road - Boston College
$54 per night for a single room (160 individual rooms are reserved). See a campus map for 90 St. Thomas More Road.

Suite-style residences include linens and towels, but no TV or phone service in the rooms. Each suite includes four bedrooms, each sleeping one person, a common living room, and two shared bathrooms. Guests may use the common rooms, including the cardio (exercise) room on the floor.

Guests may start arriving on Saturday, July 27, and stay through Wednesday, July 31.
