FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR
ALPHA CHI CHAPTER MEMBERS
Participating in Biennial
Conventions, Regional Assemblies,
and International Research, Congresses
Alpha Chi Chapter Members may request
conference funding. Awards will be determined by the Board based on
Budget Availability, Number of Attendees at the Conference and
Number of Conferences sponsored by Alpha Chi Chapter and STTI
during the Budget Year.
The Deadline for Submission: Two Months Prior
to the Event unless it is a September event in which case the
deadline for submission is June 1. Retroactive requests will
not be considered.
Process for submission: Please submit this Application
Form and a Copy of the Letter Inviting you to present a paper
or poster to Barbara Hedstrom, Treasurer of Alpha Chi Chapter,
STTI, Boston College, William F. Connell School of Nursing, Chestnut
Hill, Massachusetts 02467.
**The Finance Committee and Board of Alpha
Chi chapter must budget the maximum available funds for conference
financial assistance for the Biennial Convention and the Regional
Assembly which are events that STTI mandates for Conference Funding
for Other Sigma Related Events such as Research Congresses. The
Alpha Chi Chapter Board will make Conference Funding Awards based
on the following guidelines.
For STTI Biennial Convention or Regional
Assembly
1) Delegates - Full Funding
2) Committee or Board Members Performing Activities for Alpha Chi
Chapter - Partial Funding
3) Founders Award or Other Major Award Winners - Full Funding
4) Other Minor Award Winners - Partial Funding
5) Paper and Poster Presenters - Partial Funding to a maximum of
$200.00
6) Attendees - Partial Funding based on the number of attendees and
Alpha Chi Chapter Budget Constraints
For Research Congresses and Other Sigma
Sponsored Events
7) Paper and Poster Presenters - Partial Funding to a maximum of
$200.00
