The Research Development
Committee shall make recommendations to the Executive Board in relation
to the direction Alpha Chi Chapter should take in chapter research
activities and in programs or services that Alpha Chi Chapter may
provide its members in the area of research.
Membership of the Research Development
Committee
The Research Development Committee shall be composed
of at least three members appointed for two year terms. One
of the members shall hold the doctorate degree and the other two
members shall have performed research.
Meetings of the Research Development Committee
The Research Development Committee shall hold at
least three formal meetings each year. Additional meetings
shall be scheduled as the need arises.
Responsibilities of the Research Development
Committee
* The Research Development Committee shall review
all research-related resources available to Chapter members and
communicate this information periodically.
* Assume responsibility for an annual poster or paper session.
* Identify and facilitate services and programs designed to encourage
clinical research and research utilization by chapter members.
* Identify and promote possible avenues for dissemination and recognition
of Alpha Chi members' research results.
