Scanners & OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
Dr. Alec Peck
Thursday, February 13, 2003
Learn to use a scanner to capture images from photographs, books, newspapers, etc., which can then be printed or included in other documents or placed on web pages or in Powerpoint presentations. You'll also learn to use OCR software which converts printed documents (newspaper and maga!
zine articles, books, typed pages, etc.) into word processing files that you can edit, cut & paste, and print.
Please send an e-mail to with your name, school, and the date of the workshop you want to attend to: email@example.com
