DINING - ON CAMPUS

Hillside Cafe
The newest Boston College dining experience, this modern facility located in the 1st floor of the lower campus Faculty and Adminstration building offers a variety of al a carte lunch and breakfast options, including a full-service coffee bar, gormet wraps, and desserts. $7-10

Lower Campus Dining Hall
An attractive, well-planned layout easily accommodates the overwhelming lunch hour rush without feeling crowded or noisy. Probably best known for its made-to-order hot and cold sub sandwiches (try the chicken stir-fry sub) and giant salad bar selection, Lower Live also serves up an impressive array of hot entrees daily and you can always count on a vegetarian selection to be among them. For dessert, or just a quick snack, try the soft-serve Edy's Ice Cream. $7-10

Carney Dining Room
Not quite an intimate little bistro, what it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in variety. You can eat hearty or light, hot or cold, American or ethnic. Consider the selection: continental breakfast, international entrees at lunch and dinner, restaurant-style plated specials, vegetarian dishes, traditional recipes made with low-fat ingredients, homemade pizza, and a salad bar. $7-10 Eagle's Nest Considered the Crossroads of Middle Campus. The top choices here are the made-to-order premium deli sandwiches, "wrappers," the salad bar and soup. The look is contemporary-cabaret tables with faux granite tops, blue and red neon and lots of white ceramic wall tiling jazzed up with occasional black and red blocks. $7-10
