Henry A. Murray Research Center promotes the use
of existing social science data to explore human
development in the context of social change.
Antioch
New England Multicultural Center
for Research and Practice
Established in the fall of 2000, with a particular
focus on racial and ethnic minority and immigrant
youth, adults, and families in the New England
area, the mission of the Antioch New England Multicultural
Center for Research and Practice has three elements:
To develop multicultural products and functions,
such as consultation, outreach, workshops, presentations,
moderate-duration individual and group services,
quantitative and qualitative assessment tools,
measurement and statistical consultation and analysis,
and technology web-based resources, in partnership
with local communities, education and technology.
To be accessible to predoctoral and postdoctoral
clinicians and professionals, educators, parents,
and other providers and consumers of multicultural
services so as to promote social justice. To document,
through systematic research, the most competent,
useful, and reliable ways of providing individual
and group multicultural services and assessment
with solid empirical support.
Teacher's
College Winter Roundtable
Occuring Feburary 2006, the Roundtable, entering
its 23rd year, offers papers and symposia designed
to highlight recent developments in cross-cultural
theory, practice and research, as well as skill-building
workshops in both applied and research-related
areas. The Roundtable also includes the presentation
of the Sixteenth Annual Janet E. Helms Award for
Mentoring and Scholarship in Professional Psychology
and Education, the Third Annual Social Justice
Action Award, the Student Scholarship Program,
and Pathways to Publication. Click
