International Higher Education, Spring 1998
News of the Center for International Higher Education
The Administrative Fellows Program in Higher Education will enter its 3rd successful year in the fall. This program provides assistantships and tuition scholarships to a select group of doctoral-level students (and several masters students), thereby linking work assignments with a seminar to discuss current issues in higher education, and brings outside speakers to campus. Prospective students interested in applying to the higher education program for entry either in January or September 1999 may contact Prof. Karen Arnold, coordinator of the higher education program through the Center.
Several doctoral students are finishing their degree programs this year. Their dissertation topics and current employment follow their names.
The Center for International Higher Education, in cooperation with the Comparative Education Research Centre at the University of Hong Kong and the Center for Higher Education at Nagoya University in Japan, will be working on a comprehensive international directory of comparative and higher education programs and centers worldwide.
