This searchable web database contains details of 4794 books, articles, conference papers and reports on various aspects of international education from publishers in Australia and overseas. The database covers material published from 1990 onwards, a period of major change in education systems around the world and in the trade in educational services.

ERIC - Education Resources Information Center
The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education, produces the world’s premier database of journal and non-journal education literature. The ERIC online system provides the public with a centralized ERIC Web site for searching the ERIC bibliographic database of more than 1.1 million citations going back to 1966.

IIE Atlas of Student Mobility
Project Atlas tracks migration trends of the millions of students who pursue education outside of their home countries each year. Data are collected on student movement patterns, country of origin, as well as leading destinations for trans-national higher education.

International Association of Universities Online Database
The database on higher education systems includes information available on the higher education systems of some 180 countries and territories worldwide. UNESCO Global Education Digest 2006
The Global Education Digest 2006 presents the latest education statistics from primary to tertiary levels in more than 200 countries. It also tracks the flows of foreign or mobile students. Mobile students are defined as those who study in foreign countries where they are not permanent residents. This 194-page report can be downloaded in English or French and will be available in Arabic, Russion, Spanish.

World Health Organization (WHO) Directory of Medical Schools
The WHO Department of Human Resources for Health (HRH) is now upgrading the World directory of medical schools, formerly available via WHO's website. The new Directory will be a web-based database with comprehensive information on health training institutions worldwide, including schools of medicine, dentistry, nursing, midwifery, public health, pharmacy and rehabilitation.

Worldwide Colleges and Universities
The World Wide Colleges and Universities Website is a resource of the USC Center for Global Education. The site provides web links to colleges and universities around the world. Along with a link to the home language home page, the site also provides direct links to an English Language Home Page and the Website of the International Relations Office. Through connection to resources like the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO World Academic Database and other websites, the site also provides a background on the system of higher education for each country around the world.
