Criminal Defense

NLADA is the oldest and largest national, non-profit membership organization devoting all of its resources to advocating equal access to justice for all Americans. It champions effective legal assistance for the poor and serves as a collective voice for both civil legal services and indigent defense services throughout the nation. NLADA provides a wide range of services and benefits to its individual and organizational members. It works to improve the American system of justice by seeking adequate funding and promoting high standards for the delivery of legal assistance to the poor.
Truth in Justice is a non-profit organization working to free wholly innocent men and women convicted of crimes they did not commit, and to prevent wrongful convictions by alerting the public to the vulnerabilities in the U. S. criminal justice system that make these miscarriages possible.
