| Formerly a group under PILF, the Community
Economic Development Law Group (CED) became an official group of its
own in 2006. CED goals:
• Educate Law Students regarding issues and career opportunities
in the field of community and economic development law.
• Provide a link between the B.C. Law Community and Community
Development Organizations in Boston.
• Promote awareness of local, national and international efforts
in the Community Economic Development field.
• Provide hands-on opportunities for B.C. students to get involved
locally in community development efforts.
CED Events:
• Well-attended screening of documentary, Monkey Dance, about
Cambodian community in Lowell, MA, followed by a panel including Monkey
Dance director and Cambodian business owners
• Guided tours of Boston-area development projects
