The Commentary section, revised in December, 1999, provides a forum for less formal, and/or more opinionated pieces than are featured in our Articles section or Headlines section. This includes pieces with a distinct editorial slant, or examples where an academic or practitioner wishes to lay out a provocative concept without expanding it into a full Article. It also includes less thoroughly cited works such as conference proceedings. Finally, this is also a place for the discussion of Headlines or Articles or Commentary items as well as subjects in our field not yet broached by our authors. In addition to reasoned debate on issues raised, informative or entertaining input is always welcome.
