2nd Annual Firearms Safety Education and Training Program
Every year the Federalist Society takes a trip to the shooting range. Twenty-five students get to learn the fundamentals of firearms and firearm safety (ex, Whats the difference between a pistol, revolver, rifle and muzzle? How do you safely unload an automatic?). Then we spend three hours shooting a variety of handguns and rifles in to paper targets. This is a great way learn about shooting first safety, find out more about gun laws in Massachusetts, and have postive and rewarding experience with handguns--all in a safe environment under the supervision of licensed instructors. We especially encourage students who have never shot a gun before to see for themselves what firearms are really about. No experience necessary.
