The Assault Prevention Workshop, open to all, will be followed by a limited enrollment Women's Self Defense Workshop. Sign-up for the Self Defense workshop will take place in the snack bar on September 5 & 6 from 12-1 PM.

Assault Prevention Course (3:00 - 4:00 PM) - Provides an overview and useful demonstration of various effective self-protection options. Realistic scenarios are discussed, including the audio of an actual 911 call. The course is open to all and free!

Persuader Course (Limited Enrollment; 4:00 - 6:00 PM) - Learn how to use this simple but effective tool, also known as a Kubotan. Attaches to a key ring for quick access. Students will learn effective strikes at vulnerable body areas and how to get out of various holds by an assailant. Attendees will receive a free Persuader/Kubotan. Tuition for the Persuader course is $15. Enrollment is limited. Sign up in the snack bar on Sep 5 & 6 from 12:15 - 1:00 PM.
