Robert Donahoe Chapter President, 2000-2001
After a couple years of declining membership Bob is interested in having the Federalist Society return to a leadership role in fostering debate and a providing a balanced point of view at BCLS. Bob plans to work with the national Fed. Soc. organization, the law school administration and other student groups to promote the acknowledgment and acceptance of ideas and values that are often inadequately represented at the law school. Besides the traditional welcoming meeting, speakers and debates the chapter plans a number of non-academic events. Bob looks forward to working with chapter members to generate new ideas and welcomes active participation by all chapter members.
Bob's background includes thirteen years of engineering and business experience. Bob is a registered patent agent and is currently employed part time with the patent operation of General Electric Co. Bob enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including skiing, gardening, bow hunting and trapshooting when he is not occupied by law school studies.
