Firearms Safety Education and Training
On September 18, about 20 Boston College Law Students took up arms with the BC
Federalist Society and the Gun Owners Action League for a day of education, saftey and fun. The seminar began with a history of the evolution of American firearms, from muskets through to todays hunting rifles and hand guns. This was followed by a presentation on gun saftey, and then off to the firing range. Four certified instuctors showed students how to load and fire a .22 calibre pistol. After students gained confidence in there marksmanship, they could choose between a host of hand guns, including a 9mm, .38, and a .445 Super Magnum. This was such a successful event that the new gun slingers were already planning a return trip before they even left! Take a look at these photos and be sure not to miss out on next year's trip.
