Boston College Federalist Society is "returning the values and concepts of the law as our Founders understood them." James Madison
About the Federalist Society

Statement of Principles
The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application throught it activities. Over the last few years, the Boston Colege Law School chapter has sponsored or cosponsored debates on affirmative action, the death penalty, and the First Amendment. It has also hosted or co-hosted addresses by national figures, such as Dr. Alan Keyes, former Assistant Secretary of State and 1996 Presidential candidate, Linda Chavez, former director of the President's Commision on Civil Rights, and Reverend Earl Jackson, Cambridge-based attorney and church leader and nationally-syndicated radio show host. The Federalist Society is committed to public service and sponsors a blood drive each semester.

Although a majority of its members are conservative or libertarian, The Federalist Society encourages individuals of all political leanings to join in respectful and principled debate. We look foreward to meeting you and wish you god luck as you start your legal career.
