The
BCBLSA emblem was commissioned by NEBLSA Director, Tanisha Sullivan
'02 in 2001, and was created by Al Harmon '02 and Nicole Whittington
'02 of Boston College Law School. The three sides of the triangle
represent the partnership between practitioner, law student,
and (society) all of whom seek to use their collective energies
to create balance for blacks within the legal community and society
at large. The "child like" free style representation
of the scales of justice reminds us that justice is never perfect,
and must be pursued through any lawful means necessary, traditional
and non- traditional, (linear and abstract). |
