Project Bread's FoodSource Hotline
Nature and Purpose
Project Bread, sponsor of the annual Walk for Hunger, is dedicated
to alleviating hunger for those in crisis and is working on the long term
solutions to end hunger. The FoodSource Hotline is the direct service
arm of the agency offering immediate assistance to those who are in desperate
need of food. Each month, Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline connects
over 2500 callers to food resources. The Hotline also works to strengthen
and expand the network of over 500 emergency feeding programs throughout
the state and acts as an information center for hunger issues.

food pantries or other agencies, complete data entry, fulfill literature
orders and assist in other projects as needed.

Experience Through This Placement:
* Visits to food pantries.
* Participation in Food Drive for the Hungry, a food transportation
service provided by the Red Cross and Project Bread.

and social stigmas living on a fixed budget can produce.

through Friday, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.
