"Ongoing Collaboration"

Lonergan's own vision of the harvest his work would yield was "ongoing collaboration" among intelligent and faithful men and women. The weeklong Lonergan Workshop held every summer has brought many hundreds of people into that cooperative venture. At the Workshop, scholars deeply engaged in Lonergan studies make a gift of their lectures and presentations, and participants who are just beginning find themselves included and encouraged. Friendship and hospitality radiate from Workshop director and founder, Prof. Fred Lawrence, and Sue Lawrence (pictured at left). There are discussion groups intended for people at every level of expertise, reports on applications and work in progress, seminars on Lonergan's major writings, and a "Lonergan Emporium" for books, journals, and other literature.
