Scholarships
Scholarships will be awarded for Masters Degree studies to students
interested in furthering their understanding of the work of Bernard
J. F. Lonergan, S.J. and its relationships to other currents
of contemporary thought. The scholarships will cover full or
partial payment of tuition for Masters Degree courses.
Eligibility
for the scholarships is contingent upon acceptance into the graduate
programs of Master of Arts in either the Philosophy or Theology
Department at Boston College. Applications for these programs
may be obtained from the office of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences,
Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. Please print “Lonergan” in
the upper right hand corner of the first page of your application
to signal your interest in the Lonergan Scholarship.
In addition
to applying to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences of
Boston College, a separate letter of interest
in the Lonergan Scholarship
should be sent not later than February 15 to:

The letter of interest should include: (I) a statement of desire
to be considered for a scholarship award; (II)
a brief statement of the source of interest in
Lonergan studies; (III) the name of someone who is willing to recommend
the student for graduate studies in Lonergan’s
work.
