A most charming and characteristic scene in the Stour
valley. It shows simply a man building a boat. It lies in a
hallowed out depression, which would be filled with water
once the construction was over.
There is nothing dramatic about the scene, yet its quiet
dignity makes it a powerfully emotional impact.
