The goal of this course is to understand the meaning and significance of the works of Frank Lloyd Wright in the context of 19th and 20th century architecture.  My role will be to provide a comprehensive overview of the context of modern architecture, and a general introduction to the works of Wright.  Yours will be to analyze and understand the works of Wright in depth.  The course will be conducted in a seminar format.  Regular class attendance and vigorous participation is a must.  The semester will conclude with class presentations of your research.
