Boston College's McMullen Museum of Art is free and open to the public. The hours of operation are: Monday-Friday 11:00-4:00, Saturday and Sunday 12:00-5:00.
Football Schedule: On Saturdays when there is a home game, there is no parking available on campus and finding on-street parking is very difficult. Home games in 2013 are on Sept. 6 and 28; Oct. 12 and 26; and Nov. 9, 23, and 30. Please consult the Boston College Athletics site for the most recent schedule and news.
The Museum will be closed: September 2 (Labor Day), October 14 (Columbus Day), and November 28-29 (Thanksgiving).

Location: The Museum is located on the first floor of Devlin Hall, one of the many Neogothic buildings on the middle campus. Its street address is 140 Commonwealth Avenue. The Museum is handicapped accessible.
Getting to the McMullen Museum by subway: Take the B branch
of the MBTA Green Line to the Boston College terminus. Cross to
the other side of Commonwealth Avenue and turn right. Walk up
the hill (west) on Commonwealth Avenue to the main gate.
By car: The Museum is located on the main campus on Commonwealth Avenue (Route 30) in Chestnut Hill, just west of the Boston-Newton line.
From points north and south: Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) to Exit 24 (Route 30). Proceed east on Route 30, also known as Commonwealth Avenue, and follow for about five miles to Boston College. See below for parking information.
From points west: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. At the first set of lights after the exit ramp, take a right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street to the fourth set of lights, and turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. Follow Commonwealth Avenue 1-1/2 miles to Boston College. See below for parking information.
From downtown Boston: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. Take a left over the bridge after passing the Sheraton Tara Hotel. Take the first right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street to the fourth set of lights, and turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. Follow Commonwealth Avenue 1-1/2 miles to Boston College. See below for parking information.
Parking: A limited number of museum parking passes are available at the BC campus's main entrance at 140 Commonwealth. Visitors requiring handicapped parking should also come to the main entrance to be directed to spaces close to the McMullen. One-hour parking is permitted, as posted, on Commonwealth Avenue; parking is also available in the Beacon Street Garage and the Commonwealth Avenue Garage.
