BC Rec offers a variety of membership options for Boston College faculty, staff and students as well as summer memberships for alumni and community members. All Members and guests are expected to adhere to all of the rules of the facility. , visit our Member Services Desk in the Flynn Recreation Complex or call (617) 552-0797. |
Full-time UndergradUATE StudentS
All full-time Boston College undergraduate students are automatically members of the William J. Flynn Recreation Complex and the Quonset Hut (on the Newton Campus) with full use of the facilities and equipment effective from the day of their Freshman Orientation through May 31 of their senior year. The summer following graduation, young alumni may purchase a summer membership at the student rate.
All other Boston College students (Graduate/Evening College/Exchange/Part-time/College of Advancing Studies), currently enrolled in a degree-granting program and currently registered for classes, and spouses thereof, may purchase a membership by presenting a valid Boston College Eagle-one ID card (obtainable in Lyons Hall). Paper ID's issued by the Evening College are not valid at the RecPlex. Anyone in this category may opt not to purchase a membership, but rather present his/her Boston College Eagle-one card and pay a fee each time they come in to use the Recreation Complex. The daily fee for a student, student spouse or their guests is $7.00. Children under 5 years of age are not charged a guest fee.

Children under 5 years of age are not charged a guest fee. Facuty & staff may sign in up to five guests per vist and must remain in the building with their guests at all times. Any guest under the age of 14, must have member in the area of the building with them at all times.

Alumni may use the facility during the months of June, July and August. For your convenience, you may register in person, by fax at 617-552-1886, by email (campusrec@bc.edu) or by mailing in the registration form. Please fill out the Summer Membership Form provided, check off which type of membership you wish to purchase and the number of lockers or towel services requested. All summer members will be required to have their picture taken in Member Services, and pick up a key tag ID.
