Description:

The Boston College Men’s Volleyball team is an intercollegiate club team that competes on a national level. We carry a roster of 14 players. Our team is part of the New England Club Volleyball League (NECVL) and competes against many schools throughout New England. Our team is also a part of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA), which allows us to compete at the national level. The NECVL is made up of all the colleges in New England; most comparable to the big east while NIRSA is national league similar to the NCAA league of varsity sports. We compete at the division 1 level. There are only 64 men’s varsity volleyball programs in the country, which leaves most schools with only club teams. Because there are so few varsity programs in the country, club volleyball has become one of the highest levels of collegiate volleyball in the country. Club volleyball IS collegiate volleyball.

Important Info: Tryouts are held in the fall.
