Facebook, Twitter and Free Stuff!

BC Rec is trying to get more involved with social media, so we've created a Facebook page and a brand new twitter account. We'd appreciate it if all of you would "like" and "follow" us and since February is American Heart Month we thought we'd throw in some free heart-healthy stuff as extra incentive. We've gone through our promotional items and have boxes of t-shirts, water bottles, and other fun stuff to give you guys as a thank you for your support.

Stress and Meditation
Presented by Joe Tecce, Associate Professor, Boston College

Stress is a part of life and can motivate us to move ahead. But it can also become excessive. In this workshop, we will discuss ways to reduce stress and will practice a technique called "distractionmeditation." This method has been used by over 5,000 BC students in the past thirty years and produces powerful relaxation, focused attention, and enhanced good health.
