Certificate Programs

Boston College Continuing Education, in collaboration with the School of Social Work, is excited to announce two new post-graduate certificate programs for experienced clinicians looking to explore the topics of Advanced Clinical Practice for Adults and Advanced Clinical Practice for Children, Youth, and Families.

Each certificate program provides a deep exploration of the cutting-edge theoretical perspectives of attachment, trauma informed care, and neuroscience as they relate to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, youth, and families and adults.

In each program, participants complete eight 6-hour courses—three core courses and five electives in treatment modalities and treatment focuses—for a total of 48 CEUs. Full-day and evening classes are available.
