Christina Douyon is a Diversity Fellow and doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at Boston College. She earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University and her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Florida.
Christina joined the ISPRC team in the fall of 2014. Her current research interests include exploring the racial and ethnic identity development of Black immigrants, especially those from Africa and the Caribbean. She is also interested in how hair texture influences the perception of one's racial identity.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys reading and writing poetry, traveling and watching movies.
