Research

Dr. Franklin's research addresses the well-being and resilience of African American and South African males in the African diaspora as well as Out of School Time factors impacting child and youth socio-emotional development.  This includes qualitative analysis of archived group therapy sessions with African American men, and assessing family status with the South African Social Attitudes Survey.
