Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment (MESA)

MESA

With a focus on solving critical, global problems, our Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment programs integrate state-of-the-art research design, statistical methods, and testing. Students collaborate with faculty who are active practitioners, internationally recognized for their influential work in communities.

Coursework blends theory and application, preparing students for careers in government, testing organizations, nonprofits, and schools.

Undergraduate

Fifth Year Program

The Fifth Year Program in the Lynch School of Education offers qualified Boston College students a unique opportunity to begin graduate study during their undergraduate years.

MESA also offers two undergraduate courses, ideal for students who are interested in educational research and perhaps a graduate degree in our program. The following courses are available at the undergraduate level:
