We encourage all students to participate in some form of experiential learning—from clinics that provide services ranging from civil litigation to overturning wrongful convictions, to externships at major law firms, businesses and non-profits, to enrolling in skills-based courses and participation in our oral advocacy programs.
For an overview of all the experiential programs available at BC Law, please see our experiential learning section for prospective students.
Information on clinic registration process for current 2Ls and 3Ls is available on our Canvas course management system. This information is updated every semester.
Legal externships are field placements in the US or abroad that help prepare you for success upon graduation. Details about selecting and registering for externships can be found in the BC Law Externship Manual.
