Big Law, Big Business

Many BC Law students pursue careers at big law firms: Over 50% of our 2020 graduates practice at firms with 100+ attorneys, and nearly 1,600 alumni practice across the AmLaw 200 and NLJ 500 firms (ALM Legal Intelligence).

Through our curriculum, our students master the high-level research and writing skills needed to thrive at law firms and as in-house counsel. They also develop skills in oral advocacy, negotiation, mediation, and transactional and litigation drafting.

Clinics, internships, Semester-in-Practice and our unique tethered externship programs complement coursework with practical experiences in Boston, across the country, and around the globe—allowing students to navigate some of today’s most compelling issues, including emerging technologies, privacy and cybersecurity, intellectual property, and international issues—while gaining valuable insights and skills crucial to career success.
