Council Co-Chairs, John V. Murphy and Kathleen Corbet at the recent Market Perspectives Series/Tribute Dinner Kickoff Reception on January 22, 2009. | ||
The Boston College Wall Street Council was formed over fifteen years ago to create a formal network of BC alumni, parents and friends in the financial profession, to develop collaborative relationships and to foster greater synergy between the University and the financial community around the world—particularly the New York Market.
The Wall Street Council has forged a partnership with Boston College that is comprised of over 300 members, many that are leaders in the world of Wall Street. Thanks to the Council's efforts, the most prestigious financial organizations on Wall Street now recruit at Boston College. In addition, the Wall Street Council has raised $12 million for the Presidential Scholars Program endowment, a landmark scholarship program that brings the country's top students to the University for a challenging academic agenda rooted in the 450-year old Jesuit tradition.
