This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Boston College Wall Street Council Tribute Dinner. This year the council honored William C. Weldon, Chairman and CEO, Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Weldon received the President’s Medal for Excellence in recognition of his exceptional career as well as the personal and professional contributions he has made to society.
As in the past, proceeds from the Tribute Dinner went directly to the Presidential Scholars Program, a landmark scholarship program created by the Wall Street Council. Since 1991, the Tribute Dinners have successfully raised over $11 million for this unique program, which brings the nation’s most exceptional students to Boston College for a challenging educational experience rooted in the 450-year-old Jesuit tradition of academic excellence.
