BC Technology Council

membership

The Boston College Technology Council has three main organizational levels: executive committee, advisory board, and general membership.

co-chairs

East Coast Technology Council Co-Chairs

Those eligible for general membership are alumni, parents of students and graduates, and established friends of the University who are involved in the technology community.

To be considered a member of the advisory board, we ask that you contribute a minimum of $250 per year to Boston College for GOLD alumni (Graduates of the Last Decade), and $500 or more per year for older alumni.  This unique networking opportunity will grant board members an opportunity to attend a special meeting with Father Leahy annually, and they will also be invited to attend private receptions with the executive committee and special guest speakers.

There are two executive committees, one representing the East Coast Chapter and one representing the West Coast Chapter. Each executive committee consists of no fewer than 10 members, plus the President of Boston College. Committee members serve terms of two years and may serve more than one term. New members are selected by the executive committee in consultation with University staff. Committee members provide leadership for the Council and, in consultation with representatives of the University, define and implement the Council’s programs.
