This truism certainly applies to the process of job search but rarely do job seekers take a strategic approach to the task. The session focuses on the importance of articulating a clear career goal and then setting a strategy for achieving that goal.
10:30 - 12:00 Breakout Sessions
Session I: Purposeful Networking
Lively table exercises will focus on honing networking skills and provide an opportunity to network with other attendees and Council Members.
Session II: "If I did it, so can you!"
A panel of distinguished alumnae will discuss their experiences of re-entering the job market after an extended absence, transitioning from the corporate world to the nonprofit sector, and creating a new business from home.

Your job search strategy will include a variety of tactics but none are more important than the tools you use to communicate your "brand" and your value in the workplace.
2:15 - 3:15 How to Effectively Use Social Media to Communicate Your Brand
A distinguished panel will discuss how to use LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media effectively and strategically in your job search or building your business.
